Pidgin language, origin and dialects spoken over the world.

Origin and History

Pidgin English, with its roots closely connected to the early days of foreign trade, is a fascinating language and has ties to many countries around the world. Pidgin English is a language that evolves out of the need for people to communicate over a language divide and is related to a common language.

A pidgin language is an example of a condensed grammar lingua franca, which makes it simpler and faster to understand. These considerations are important since pidgins are mostly born out of desperation.

The word 'pidgin' derives from the Chinese' business 'pronunciation, but in its early days, Pidgin English was simply rendered as' business English'-a fitting term in view of its origins. It is a form of communication that is continually changing, perhaps much more so than English itself, but for centuries its core concepts have remained the same. Pidgin English is a language that can bind people together, despite vastly different cultures, and despite a language barrier, by relying on features of various languages and without laws as well.

A pidgin can be assembled from a multitude of languages as well as onomatopoeia, from words, sounds, or body language. Although the lexicon of every pidgin is confined to the core vocabulary, the pidgin may develop an entirely different (or additional) meaning for words with only a basic meaning in the language of the lexifier.

Basically, a pidgin is a simplistic means of linguistic contact between individuals or groups of persons, as it is constructed impromptu, or by tradition. Instead of being taught as a second language, a pidgin is not the native language of any speech group.
